As one of my activities for the Allrecipes.com Brand Ambassador Program for the month of June, I was asked to make some recipes that remind me of summer. I chose the following recipe for that very reason...S'mores is just one of those food items that is made time and time again during the summer months! But these treats are delicious ANY time of year!
This version is a simple idea taken from the traditional S'mores recipe. My family loved it! And I loved how easy it was to make and keep stored for whenever that S'mores craving hits you!

Here is my version of this recipe...
INGREDIENTS:
9 lollypop sticks
9 marshmallows
7 oz. chocolate chips
4 squares graham crackers, crushed
DIRECTIONS:
1.Insert lollypop stick into each marshmallow. Melt chocolate chips in a small bowl in the microwave according to package directions. Place cracker crumbs in shallow bowl.
2.Roll marshmallows in melted chocolate until sides and top are covered. Sprinkle cracker crumbs over chocolate. Place on metal baking pan lined with waxed paper. Freeze 5 minutes. Serve immediately in paper baking cups, if desired.

I made them with a Patriotic theme by coloring the mini cupcake liners with food coloring as seen in this blog...**Click Here**

I have all the ingredients, debating whether I should make them... my girls are watching every morsel due to my eldest daughter's upcoming wedding... they do love Smores though!!! BIG TIME!!!
ReplyDeleteSo, Lillian baby girl... what type of liners do you use? I'm having issues lately with mine where as I have to spray, and they still seem to be sticking...
Hi Didi! Congrats on your daughters wedding...very exciting! For the liners I just use the cheapest ones I can find! I never have a problem with anything sticking...especially these because they have the crumbs on the outside, so it won't stick!
