Creamy Cheesy Hot Corn Dip

Hot Corn Dip

I love to serve snacks to my guests that are  a little unique. Well, this corn dip is not only unique but also so delicious! It's warm, creamy, cheesy, corn goodness in every bite!  And it also has a slight amount of spiciness. My guests loved this one, so now I'm sharing it here!

Flip Flop Sandwiches!

These are just so easy to make and so darn cute! My family thought it was very creative. I made these using sliced turkey breast, American cheese and mustard. And some where made with ham and cheese. The green straps and orange colored embellishments are sliced green onions and carrots. The flip flop shape is created easily by using a cookie cutter. I never realized there are so many different kinds of cookie cutter shapes! I think you can find just about any shape you'll need here at Karen's Cookies. That's where I bought my flip flop cookie cutter for only $1.99 plus shipping.

Game Day Small Bites!

This year the big game is all about New York because it's taking place in the home stadium of 2 New York teams. I'm a New Yorker, so this is a huge deal! I don't know about you, but to me, the food served during these football games is just as important as the game! So today I'm sharing some tried and true small bite snack recipes that have a New York theme. The recipes also have a RITZ cracker theme because some of my fellow food blogger friends have created these recipes for RITZ. So these recipes have not only been tried by the creator but also by the people at Ritz! The Ritz company loved the recipes so much that they posted them on Allrecipes.com.

Fruit Roll-Up Valentine Fortune Cookies

Okay, don't judge these by how sad mine look! This is a cute Valentine treat to give the kiddies! Especially if you use the Fruit Roll-Ups that DON'T have the tongue tattoos printed on them! You can add any message you want inside! No cooking involved! Just roll out, cut and fold into shape!

Cute and Delicious Cucumber Snacks

I love cucumbers! And I love finding new ways to serve them. They're crunchy, refreshing and a healthy snack.

I recently started using cucumbers to make my own pickles from leftover jarred pickle brine. I mentioned how easy it is to do that in this post...'Recycle Your Pickle Brine'

So now I was hungry for new cucumber recipes and came across these next two ideas.

Unique Snacks

I love finding new and intertesting snacks to munch on! Well, I came across 2 fun ones this week and I'm hooked on them already! One of them is store bought and one is an easy homemade treat! This first one I found at Trader Joe's market...I love that store!
These are so crunchy! Kind of like a cheese doodle but with a snap pea flavor!  They're low in sodium and fat! They have lots of fiber! So, this is a much better choice than chips! Guilt free snacking...I love it!

This next snack is not as healthy! I found this recipe through a fellow foodie named Caroline Ann Savage. She posted this recipe on Allrecipes.com and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to try it! Its salty, spicy hot and sweet, all in one crunchy bite! I couldn't stop eating these! They're called Firecrackers!

I made them using 'Andy Capp Hot Fries', you'll find them in the potato chip isle. I coated them in white chocolate! And then to make them even more spicy, I sprinkle them with cayenne pepper! Caroline's original recipe called for 'Flamin Hot Cheetos', but I couldn't find them, so I used the hot fries! Here's the link to the original recipe...Firecracker Recipe - click here
