I'm not a big fan of raw radishes because of their spiciness. Well, when I sliced them and sauteed them with butter and garlic, the radishes were transformed into these lovely mauve medallions of flavorful tenderness! It was like magic! They tasted nothing like raw radishes. The taste was very similar to sauteed cauliflower. I've made these many times, serving them as a side dish with grilled meat or serving them on top of buttered pasta with grated cheese. These are so easy to prepare!
9oz. bag raw radishes...serves 2
2 Tbls. butter
2 large cloves garlic-crushed
Wash and slice the radishes into thin disks. Sauteed them in a skillet on med/high heat with 2 tablespoons of butter, 2 large cloves garlic(crushed) and salt and pepper to taste. I cooked them until they were very tender. The longer you cook them the sweeter they become!
